- Aurora Dairies have stable farm teams, however our farms occasionally require additional staff for short periods and our farm managers will reach out to backpackers to fill these casual vacancies at short notice. This advert is for backpackers looking for work in Victoria where we have farms located in the South West, Western Districts, Gippsland and Northern Victoria regions.**PLEASE READ THESE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING**:
- Shared accommodation is provided at $50 each deducted from your pay which covers rent and utilities.
Up to 50 hours per week of work will be available per worker at $28.26 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus any relevant penalty rates and superannuation.
**Qualifications**:
- The roles involve completing various tasks in the following areas:
- Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures
- All aspects of milking
- Animal husbandry and calf rearing
- Pasture management
- Machinery operation
- Repairs and maintenance.
The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
