Aurelia Metals Limited is an ASX‐listed, Australian‐owned gold and base metals company based in NSW. We operate the Peak and Federation underground mines and are advancing the Great Cobar Project, a high‐grade copper development near Peak.
About the role
We are looking for a highly capable IT Operations Specialist who thrives in a hands‐on, technically dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong networking background who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and supporting critical operational systems. Experience in mining, utilities or heavy industry sites, or remote operational environments, is highly valued.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure personal and team health and safety through safe work practices and training.
* Deliver Level1 and2 IT support across hardware, software and site systems.
* Support and maintain site networks including LAN/WAN, wireless, fibre and underground communications.
* Manage and escalate incidents based on business impact, including after‐hours P1 support.
* Liaise with vendors and contractors to resolve incidents, requests and system changes.
* Maintain user access, Active Directory and support governance, audits and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience installing, configuring and maintaining IT systems and networks.
* Background in industrial environments such as mining, utilities or manufacturing.
* Ability to perform first‐response fault isolation across networks and communications.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills.
* Knowledge of business systems and application support.
* Customer‐focused with a results‐driven approach.
* Proficient in Microsoft365, SOE management and identity & access (Entra ID/Active Directory).
* Familiar with Pronto (ERP) and INX systems.
