Senior NDIS Operations & Scheduling Lead
The Senior NDIS Operations & Scheduling Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Bila Community Group during a critical restructure phase.
For the first six months, this role will work side-by-side with the Director as part of a two-person leadership team, managing participant intakes, scheduling, compliance, and service delivery.
This is a hands‑on operational role, requiring a highly experienced NDIS professional who can make decisions, manage complexity, and build sustainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scheduling & Service Delivery
Manage end‑to‑end scheduling and rostering of participants and support workers
Coordinate service changes, cancellations, and urgent adjustments
Ensure services are delivered in line with participant plans and agreements
Monitor service continuity and address risks proactively
2. Participant Intake & Onboarding
Oversee participant intakes from referral to service commencement
Coordinate required documentation, consents, and service agreements
Ensure intake processes meet NDIS Practice Standards
Identify intake risks and elevate where required
3. Operations Management
Manage daily operational decisions and issue resolution
Support and guide support workers with operational matters
Maintain accurate operational records and documentation
Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
4. Compliance & Quality
Ensure operational activities align with NDIS compliance requirements
Maintain accurate and audit‑ready documentation
Identify compliance gaps and support corrective actions
Work closely with the Director on operational planning and priorities
Provide honest feedback, insights, and recommendations
Take ownership of outcomes and operational decisions
Build a strong operational foundation for future growth

Essential Experience & Skills
Extensive experience working in the NDIS sector
Proven experience managing complex scheduling and rostering
Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and compliance
Ability to work independently in a small team environment
Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Confident decision-making and accountability
