As the Business Development Manager - Townsville, you'll be at the front line of Sunny Days Distillery's growth across Townsville – bringing our bold, flavour-packed products to bars, retailers, wholesalers, and everywhere in between.
This isn't your average sales gig. We're looking for someone who can spot a new opportunity a mile away, pitch with confidence, and turn a curious first sip into a long-term partnership. From buzzing inner-city venues to hidden gems in the regions, you'll be driving our presence and personality into new places, one great account at a time.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Stuff
Scout out growth pockets in metro and regional areas;
Partner up with key distributors, independent retailers, and wholesale legends;
Keep an eye on the competition, pricing, and market trends;
Help shape our product lineup by sharing real insights from the ground;
Work closely with marketing to tailor campaigns that hit just right in Townsville; and
Be our brand ambassador at trade shows, events, and local tastings.
Hands-On Hustle
Prospect, pitch, and win over new on-premise and off-premise accounts;
Own the full sales cycle, from lead to signed deal to seamless handover;
Team up with trade marketing to deliver tastings, activations, and good vibes in-store;
Track performance and pipeline with regular updates and reports;
Stay fully across RSA requirements and QLD liquor laws, we play by the rules;
Work alongside logistics and customer service to keep the experience smooth from start to finish; and
Keep our CRM in shape with clean, up-to-date info.
What You Bring to the Table

Keeping things compliant with RSA and licensing regs;
Staying on top of CRM and reporting duties; and
Contributing smart ideas in team planning and reviews.
Industry Know-How That's a Must
Familiar with RSA and QLD liquor licensing laws;
Comfortable working with distributors and navigating supply chains;
Understand local council rules and how they impact venues; and
High ethical standards, we're a fun brand, but we take the rules seriously.
