About Our Team
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Western Australia offer support, advice and treatment to children and adolescents from birth to 18 years who are experiencing mental health challenges.
As a Clinical Psychologist Registrar you will deliver quality psychological care including assessments, evidence-based interventions and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, under the supervision of a board-approved clinical psychologist.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver individual, dyadic, group, community and hospital-based therapies, including CBT, DBT and family therapy.
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, behavioural and family functioning.
Provide consultation, advice and training on psychological matters to colleagues and stakeholders.
Engage in professional development and supervision towards full registration.
Maintain client records, comply with therapy and testing guidelines and contribute to performance monitoring.
Qualifications & Requirements
Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
Eligibility for full registration and Clinical Psychologist Registrar status with the Psychology Board of Australia (Essential Criteria 1).
Evidence of current resume and cover letter summarising experience and how you meet the position requirements.
Statement addressing Essential Selection Criteria 2–6 with relevant examples (max 3 pages).
