About the Position
As a Product Support Operations Representative (PSOR), you will commence a development program in which you will learn the fundamentals to succeed in your career at Caterpillar from senior leaders and subject matter experts. Following the training program, you will enter rotational assignments tailored to your career path, focused on developing industry and product application knowledge and a strong understanding of the Caterpillar Dealer network. Upon completion of the development program and in your capacity as PSOR, you will collaborate with dealers to build capability, drive process improvement, and execute Product Support (Service Operations) related strategies, connecting data to identify opportunities and develop solutions that support dealers in meeting customer needs. Applicants may be considered from across Australia and could be required to relocate upon completion of the developmental period, with company support for relocation.
Job Summary
The Field Rep Development Program focuses on building the skills and knowledge necessary to partner with Caterpillar Dealers to drive strategy alignment and customer loyalty. The program spans 18–24 months.
Program Details
- 12-week training program with workshops to build Caterpillar knowledge, soft skills, and consultative skills.
- Training includes travel to Asia and Europe to visit Caterpillar facilities to build technical and product knowledge.
- A customized development plan to understand and learn Caterpillar machines, organizations, and values.
What You Will Do
- Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar, its products, services, and customers.
- Grow personally and professionally through soft skills development and hands‐on technical training.
- Collaborate with experts in product development, dealer management, marketing, and sales.
- Work in various rotational assignments throughout Caterpillar, learning strategy, services, and products.
- Ultimately, manage assigned territory and serve as a connection between dealers and Caterpillar.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Demonstrated technical and non‐technical aptitude.
- Valid passport.

- 3–5 years of experience in engineering or process/change management.
