Accounts Payable / Payroll / Book-keeper
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Payroll / Book-keeping professional to join our dynamic team at Samra Transport. The full time role is based in Regency Park, South Australia.
About the role
Working closely with our Financial Controller and Operations Administration Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function and payroll, ensuring efficient and accurate financial record-keeping for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Reconcile bank statements daily and monitor cash flow
* Obtain receipts for debit card spend and reconcile weekly
* Process payroll, superannuation, and related employee entitlements
* Load and code creditor invoices into QuickBooks accurately
* Assist with monthly creditor expense accrual
* Prepare and process creditor and sub-contractor payments
* Request and reconcile creditor statements at the end of each month
* Pricing contractor / sub-contractor manifests and SPA's
* Process credit applications from Suppliers
* Handle enquiries from Suppliers
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting standard
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Confident using Microsoft Office across all applications
* Experience with using Freight Tracker or any similar Transport Management System is preferred but not mandatory
* Experience with Quickbooks and Xero or similar online platforms is required
* The role also includes general administration duties and supporting the bookings and operations team if required.
