About the Role
This role supports the Senior Regulatory and Prudential Compliance Manager with accountability for the global oversight of ANZ's management of the following Level 2 Regulatory risks: Prudential Compliance, Licencing, Financial Markets & OTC Regs, EESG, Company Operations and Banking Operations.
This team maintains strong relationships with Senior Managers across all areas of the bank.

What will your day look like?
The role is accountable for:
* Working with senior internal stakeholders to support their understanding of the Level 2 risks and help build out the compliance environment, including controls relating to ANZ's licences e.g., AFSL & ACL.
* Undertaking activities relating to the oversight of the above Level 2 regulatory risks within risk appetite,
* Lead the oversight of the frameworks, policies, and associated control objectives and obligations relating to assigned Level 2 risks and consistent with the components of the I.AM Framework including identification of opportunities for simplification and automation.
* Undertaking insightful analysis on the management of assigned Level 2 risks.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
* Tertiary qualified with 8+ years experience in Compliance / Risk Management, or relevant experience in financial services
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence/negotiate outcomes
* Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation
* Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner
* Ability to understand regulatory issues and translate into actions or provide advice to facilitate compliant outcomes
