Role Description
This is an on-site part-time role for an instructional designer, based in Brisbane City, QLD, which can lead to full-time based on performance. The role entails designing, writing, and continuously updating engaging learning content and assessment tools, including learner guides, assessment tasks, contextualization, and presentation materials, while actively participating in the validation and ongoing review of training and assessment materials. The role involves close collaboration with trainers, assessors, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance, as well as maintaining strong relationships with external regulators and industry bodies to stay informed on emerging compliance trends and best practices. Additionally, the position requires conducting compliance audits and training material health checks, preparing clear reports and action plans to address any identified gaps, and supporting clients during regulatory audits and related compliance activities.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of compliance and quality standards in the VET sector
* Prior experience working with Australian vocational education providers (RTOs)
* Background in instructional design, education, or teaching
* Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
* Familiarity with education and migration-related training topics is advantageous but not mandatory.
