Job Description:
As a Airport Security Screener, you will be responsible for screening travelers, airports, and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. This role requires the use of diverse electronic detection and imaging equipment to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo, and on passengers.
The Airport Security Screener must work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and deadlines, adapting quickly to changing situations and priorities while ensuring a smooth passenger experience.
* Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) work together as a team to maintain the highest level of security.
* TSOs are responsible for using advanced technology and following protocols to screen all passengers, their carry-on and checked baggage, and cargo before it reaches its final destination.
Responsibilities:
Pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, baggage screening, and ticket review.
Qualifications:
US Citizen, High School Diploma or G.E.D., proficient in English language, 18 years of age or older, pass background investigation, drug screening, and medical evaluation, successfully complete TSA's two-week new hire training, available to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
