We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to assist us with electricity maintenance services based out of our Broadmeadows depot.
About the Role
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for providing technical expertise in relation to maintenance and asset replacement requirements; as well as planning, implementation, and monitoring of work programs to improve system reliability and capability.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor, review, and undertake network maintenance, asset replacement based on system notifications, monitor, update the works management system, and ensure all relevant works meet the necessary quality levels, timeframes, and costs.
* Manage inventory to meet planning requirements and implement the necessary audit programs and cost controls.
* Fault and Emergency response management.
* Budgeting, forecasting, managing operational asset registers, and regulatory and company compliance.
* Develop and strengthen relationships with Asset Management to ensure that customer expectations are met while matching delivery capabilities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require a clear understanding of resource planning, knowledge of High Voltage &/ Low Voltage overhead and underground construction and maintenance within the electricity environment, good working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP work order management, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and relevant trade/tertiary qualification or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline and current Australian driver's license.
