Role Description
The Director of Growth is a full-time, on-site role located in Armidale, NSW. This position is responsible for driving business development initiatives, managing marketing strategies, and supporting overall school growth. Day-to-day tasks include finding new ways to enrol, building strong relationships with potential families, coordinating projects to improve the school's profile in expos and exhibits (generate leads), and staying aligned with the organisation's mission and values. The Director will also lead sales initiatives to promote the school and manage key growth-focused projects.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Executive and Principal, the Director of Growth will lead and carry out NEGS's enrolment and growth strategy with clarity, discipline, and ambition. You will own the full enrolment lifecycle — from first enquiry to confirmed enrolment — and play a critical role in shaping the school's future direction.
Qualifications
Advanced skills in Business Development and Sales to identify and explore growth opportunities.
Strong Project Management skills to oversee and deliver growth-focused initiatives effectively.
Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate performance and inform strategic decision-making.
Experience working in the education sector or knowledge of independent schools is an advantage.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, leadership
Lead and deliver the school's enrolment and growth strategy
Own and optimise the end-to-end enrolment journey
Drive enquiry-to-enrolment conversion through disciplined sales practice and exceptional engagement
Manage and refine the school's CRM to ensure data integrity, insight and accountability
Represent NEGS at expos, events and targeted growth initiatives
Plan and deliver Principal on Tour, Open Morning, and School Tour programs and key market engagement strategies
Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer, Principal and Executive to align growth, brand and broader strategic priorities
