About This Role
This role is crucial to supporting the winemaking process by conducting laboratory analyses. The incumbent will be responsible for collecting, preparing, and testing wine samples across all stages of production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing routine laboratory tests (e.g., Sulphur Dioxide, pH/TA analysis)
* Calibrating and maintaining lab equipment
* Recording and reporting analytical results accurately
* Operate laboratory equipment and perform tests that involve a narrow range of variables and easily recognized control limits
* Work under close and regular supervision, although may have autonomy for specific tasks and responsibility for own outputs
* Collaborate with colleagues and take ownership of work outputs
* Ensure calibration, operation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
* Maintain laboratory hygiene and orderliness
* Adhere to BRC, HACCP, and NATA protocols
