Due to continued growth and increasing operational sophistication, Bastion is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager to act as the right hand to the CFO and help strengthen the group’s reporting, governance and financial control framework.
The Opportunity
This is a senior, hands-on technical finance role operating across multiple entities, SPVs and trust structures. You will take ownership of consolidated reporting, statutory compliance and audit readiness while partnering closely with the CFO, external auditors, lenders and key stakeholders.
This role blends technical depth with functional leadership, requiring both hands-on execution and the ability to guide and strengthen the finance function as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead month-end close across multiple entities
* Prepare consolidated and entity-level financial statements
* Manage SPV and trust accounting structures
* Oversee audit preparation and external auditor relationships
* Support board and lender reporting requirements
* Drive improvements in financial controls and reporting processes
* Assist with BAS, tax and statutory compliance obligations
About You
* CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent)
* Experience within property development or construction
* Strong multi-entity consolidation experience
* Confident managing trust and SPV structures
* Comfortable operating as a senior 2IC within finance
Candidates from Big 4 or mid-tier practice environment, with property/construction exposure transitioning into industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
