At BON CHARGE, we move fast, think long-term, and hold ourselves to a high standard. We're building a category-defining brand and we're looking for people who want to do work that genuinely matters.

About the role

We are seeking a Scientific Affairs & Marketing Compliance Officer to support the scientific review and compliance oversight of marketing and promotional materials at BON CHARGE.

Working under the direction of the Head of Scientific Affairs, Research & Innovation, this role will help ensure that BON CHARGE's communications are scientifically accurate, regulatory-compliant, commercially relevant and aligned with company strategy across all consumer-facing channels.

Day to day, the role will involve reviewing peer-reviewed scientific literature, drafting and assessing product claims, maintaining the company's claims and evidence library, and supporting the development of scientifically accurate promotional materials and communications that are appropriate for the intended audience. The role will support a diverse portfolio across consumer-facing medical devices, wellness products and beauty devices in key markets, including Australia, the UK, EU, Canada and the USA.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong blend of IQ and EQ. The role requires frequent engagement with international partners and manufacturers, strong time management, and the ability to operate confidently across cultures and time zones.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for both internal and external stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset is critical.

At BON CHARGE, we are ambitious, fast-paced and committed to excellence. We set high standards for ourselves and each other, creating an environment where talented individuals can achieve outstanding career growth and development. You'll be part of a team driven to be in the top 1% of what we do — if you are looking for a role where you will be challenged, supported and continuously learning, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Review scientific literature and contribute to a centralised claims, evidence and references database for use in marketing, scientific and regulatory activities.
* Conduct scientific and compliance reviews of marketing collateral, escalating complex or borderline items where required. Where compliance risks are identified, propose practical alternative wording or solutions to bring materials into compliance.
* Provide clear, constructive, and objective scientific input to marketing and commercial teams to ensure content is accurate, evidence-based, audience-appropriate and aligned with approved claims.
* Identify new evidence-based claims and scientific angles that may be suitable for use in marketing campaigns, subject to appropriate review and approval.
* Monitor emerging regulations, industry codes, competitor activity and scientific literature relevant to the product portfolio. Conduct compliance impact assessments and escalate potential issues, risks and implications to the manager or department head.
* Support compliance with applicable regulatory standards across key markets, including Australia, the USA, Canada, the UK and the EU, under the guidance of the Head of Scientific Affairs, Research & Innovation.
* Collaborate with marketing, content and commercial teams to develop communications that are scientifically accurate, compliant, commercially relevant and effective in conveying key messages.
* Maintain, apply and help improve SOPs and internal guidelines for promotional review, claims substantiation and compliance.
* Support the delivery of internal training on scientific communication standards, marketing compliance, claims substantiation and relevant industry codes, in partnership with the Head of Scientific Affairs, Research & Innovation.
* Maintain accurate records of reviews, decisions, approvals and supporting evidence to ensure audit-readiness and traceability.
* Support regulatory submissions, technical documentation, product claims reviews and other regulatory or scientific activities as directed by the Head of Scientific Affairs, Research & Innovation.
* Help drive internal science communication so that team members understand the scientific rationale, evidence base and compliant positioning for key products and claims.
* Conduct internal audits of promotional materials (visual and written content) associated with BON CHARGE's product portfolio, including but not limited to: product user manuals, product display pages, past blog posts, and previously published customer reviews.

Key Requirements

* Degree in a scientific or health-related field. An advanced degree (MSc, PhD) is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, medical writing, or promotional compliance in a regulated industry.
* Working understanding relevant regulations and industry codes (e.g. TGAC); willingness to deepen knowledge under guidance.
* Exposure to reviewing promotional materials or scientific content in a regulated environment.
* Solutions-oriented approach to all tasks, with the judgement to know when to escalate.
* Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate scientific content for non-technical audiences.
* Confidence working cross-functionally with marketing, product and creative teams; developing ability to professionally advise and influence without authority.
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Comfortable in fast-paced environments with ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Why Join BON CHARGE?

* Be part of a global wellness brand at a pivotal growth stage.
* Build the content function from the ground up alongside an award-winning creative team.
* Work alongside passionate founders and a supportive executive team that truly champions creativity and innovation.
* Help shape the brand voice for a business that's redefining health, wellbeing, and modern wellness rituals.
* Competitive salary package and strong career growth potential.
* A workspace that feels like a wellness retreat: our HQ is designed with intention — think diffusers with calming botanicals, a curated tea bar, natural light, and ergonomic stand-up desks.
* Join a team that genuinely values culture, fun, and connection — where wellness isn't just a product we sell, but something we live and breathe every day.
