We are a dynamic hospitality group expanding our multi-site portfolio. Our Business Analyst will support data-driven decision making and ongoing expansion by reviewing business processes, preparing system specifications, analyzing operational and customer data, and recommending new systems or tools to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and assess business processes across the company's owned and managed bar and restaurant venues.
* Prepare functional requirements and system specifications for POS systems, inventory management, financial reporting, and staff rostering.
* Collect and analyze operational and customer data, and prepare business reports to support management decisions.
* Research and recommend new systems or tools to improve efficiency and customer experience.
* Work with different departments to gather and confirm business requirements, ensuring systems meet company objectives.
* Participate in system implementation by defining requirements, assisting with design, and checking that outcomes meet business needs.
* Coordinate with software vendors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure systems are integrated and run smoothly across all venues.
* Maintain data security and compliance measures to ensure privacy and system safety under Australian regulations.
* Write user manuals and training materials, and provide training to staff to ensure effective system use.
* Check system performance on a regular basis, gather feedback, and suggest improvements to support ongoing growth.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of relevant experience in business or financial analysis.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and BI tools.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and deliver insights under tight deadlines.
