Site installer / trade assistant needed!
We specialise in the manufacture and installation of quality aluminium products for high end clients, such as privacy screens, window shrouds, fencing, gates, pergolas and more.
We are looking for someone who is ready and willing to work in the building and construction industry, has a general understanding and comfortability with the use of power tools and is able to problem solve and think on their feet.
the role: you will be required to meet at the factory every morning at 6:30am where you and the team will load up the jobs that are set to be installed. from there you will head out in a company supplied vehicle that has all neccesary tools and equipment provided and make your way to site with our lead installer where you will assist with the instillation of the jobs allocated. these can range from fencing and gates for outdoor areas to decorative paneling for building facades. Once the jobs are finished you will head back to the factory and unload the vehicles, tidy up and head home by 3pm.
You will be working as part of a team and dealing with a multitude of clients that range from residential customers to large scale domestic and commercial builders so tidiness and organisation is of a top priority.
Should there be any down time between installs there is plenty of assistance needed in the factory with the manufacturing side of things, so there will always be something to do.
The position advertised is for a casual basis however you will be doing about 25-38 hours a week. A full time positions will be available for the right candidate.
Experience in the building industry is not essential but definitely preferred as you will have the responsibility of insuring your work is up to the standard our clients desire.
Applicants must have a valid drivers licence and be competent in driving manual vehicles.
