We are hiring a Head of Business Development to lead the commercial function of our Integrated Energy Solutions division at Next Green Group (NGG). This is a strategic position for a proven C&I energy hunter who wants full commercial ownership, real capital backing, and a clear path to building something significant.
The Australian C&I energy market is shifting fast. Battery storage, PPAs, MW-scale rooftop solar and demand flexibility are moving from early adoption into mainstream commercial decisions. As NGG is positioned at the leading edge of that shift, backed by Sojitz Corporation, this role is pivotal to driving the next stage of growth.
You will be supported by a differentiated proposition, a dedicated quoting team, an aligned marketing plan, technical resources from the Projects Team, and work alongside the Executive GM.
What you will own:
* End-to-end pipeline across solar, BESS, PPAs, and integrated retail energy solutions
* Direction of our remote quoting team for rapid, high-quality proposal delivery
* Senior and executive customer relationships across the Australian C&I market
* As results build, you will have the opportunity to recruit and lead a BD team
What we need:
* 7+ years in Australian C&I energy sales with a proven closing record
* Demonstrated PPA deal experience with C&I customers
* Experience managing remote or offshore teams
* Melbourne-based, autonomous, and commercially sharp
