About the role
SafeWork NSW is expanding its inspectorate as part of a
$***** million NSW government investment
. We seek experienced professionals to join as
Assistant State Inspectors
across three focus areas:
Return to Work
– improve outcomes for injured workers by ensuring rehabilitation and recovery obligations are met through inspections, education and compliance activities.
Investigations
– conduct complex investigations, gather evidence and enforce compliance to address critical incidents and improve safety outcomes.
Psychosocial (Workplace Stress, Bullying & Harassment)
– lead inspections, investigations and interventions focused on psychosocial risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and conduct inspections, investigations and interventions in the assigned focus area.
Gather and analyze evidence, apply transparent decision-making and enforce compliance.
Collaborate with other regulators to improve safety outcomes.
Provide education and guidance to employers on rehabilitation, recovery and psychosocial risk management.
