About the Role
This role is full-time, Monday-Friday 38 hours per week and reports to the owners of the development company.
As an architectural draftsperson in our team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering custom residential projects. You will collaborate with a team of architects and designers, working on a diverse range of single residential projects from concept to completion. We do not have clients – we design and develop each home individually and then sell the completed home.Key Responsibilities:
* Conceptualise and develop detailed technical designs for single residential projects.
* Collaborate with construction managers, contractors and consultants to ensure each home achieves our high standards.
* Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for development approvals and for construction using REVIT computer aided design software.
* Selection and detailing of all internal and external finishes including the landscape designs, detailed cabinetry designs and internal elevations.
* Create high quality renderings of the completed projects including streetscapes using Enscape to help the construction team understand the desired outcome and communicate to our sales agents what projects are coming up.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure our standards are being met.
* Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design solutions.
Salary: $85,000 to 95,000 + Superannuation, negotiable
Requirements:
* An Advanced Diploma of Building Design, or Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
* Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in designing and quality residential projects with a portfolio of residential projects.
* Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant plans, regulations, and codes of practice.
* Proficiency in Revit is imperative. Proficiency in Enscape is highly desired.
* Strong detailed design and presentation skills including renderings.
* Knowledge of
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Confirmation that you are prepared to move to Griffith NSW for this full-time role for a minimum of 2 years
