Job Opportunity: Senior Abinitio Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Abinitio Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and ETL principles, with expertise in Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead technical troubleshooting activity and provide mentorship to junior team members.
* Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
* Estimate development effort for new features.
* Contribute to delivering data engineering/ETL solutions using Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
Requirements:
* Solid hands-on experience of data engineering/ETL principles and practices with Unix/Linux, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
* Confidence in coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.
* Hands-on programming experience of 8-12 years in Ab Initio related products and shell scripting.
* Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and using SQL or other data integration/ETL tools.
* CI/CD concepts and ability to create pipelines in Jenkins, TeamCity, Ab Initio EME.
* Coding - Python, Java.
* DevOps and production support.
