About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions to individuals presenting with acute mental health disorders.
The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and a demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act and related legislation. You will work collaboratively with consumers, their families, and carers to develop treatment plans that reflect best available evidence and emphasize positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive assessments, triage, and assertive outreach services to clients and their families.
* Develop collaborative treatment plans with consumers, their families, and carers.
* Work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide support and information to consumers, their families, and carers.
Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse and current registration with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated experience in the assessment and management of people presenting with acute mental health disorders.
* Excellent negotiation skills and verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the NSW Mental Health Act and related legislation.
