Classification Board Review: Lead Member Position
We are seeking exceptional candidates to join the Classification Board Review as Lead Members. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the review process and making classification decisions that reflect Australian community standards.
The Classification Board Review is an independent statutory body established under the National Classification Scheme Act 1995. Our role is to review decisions made by the Classification Board and make fresh classification decisions based on relevant legislation and guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong strategic thinking skills and be able to maintain awareness of emerging issues in media and technology. You should also have the ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions with confidence and maturity.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in helping Australians make informed choices about what they watch, play and read. As a Lead Member, you will be responsible for:

You will work closely with other members of the Classification Board Review to ensure that our decisions are consistent with classification laws, community standards and principles of transparency and fairness.
