About the Role
In this role, you'll provide steady leadership to a capable finance and administration team, empowering them to take ownership while offering the guidance and support they need. You'll work closely with the MD and COO, providing clear, reliable and timely, financial information that helps the business make informed decisions. This is a hands-on position where you'll be involved in the detail - overseeing daily processing, ensuring month-end accuracy and maintaining strong financial controls. It suits someone who has already achieved a great deal in their career and now takes satisfaction in developing others, strengthening systems and keeping the financial engine room running smoothly. You'll play a key role in supporting operations, improving reporting and maintaining the discipline and structure that are required to maintain Neutrog's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the finance and administration team.
* Oversee all financial processing including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, stock processes and general ledger maintenance.
* Deliver accurate, timely month-end close and management reporting.
* Manage cashflow, working capital and banking relationships.
* Strengthen financial systems, internal controls and delegations of authority.
* Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning with the MD, COO and broader leadership team.
* Partner with operations to improve reporting, inventory management and cross-functional processes.
* Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and financial governance.
What You'll Bring
* Significant commercial experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role.
* A calm, steady leadership style - able to empower, guide and develop a team.
* Excellent technical accounting capability and attention to detail.
* Confidence managing cashflow, month-end and financial reporting.
* Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems.
* Clear communication and the ability to partner effectively with management and operations.
* Experience in manufacturing or inventory-based environments (advantageous).
This role is best suited to someone who feels comfortable sharing knowledge and experience to build capability across all levels in the team, it is not suited to early-career candidates or those still completing their qualifications.
