Sustainable Energy Development develops, derisks and coordinates the delivery of electricity sector policies, strategies and projects to secure economic efficiency, strengthen electricity market design and create industry certainty.
As Executive Director Projects, you will provide executive leadership and strategic direction to a project team which focuses on promoting, facilitating, developing and delivering sustainable Northern Territory energy projects. These projects secure the Northern Territory's electricity priorities of a secure and reliable electricity system, delivered at lowest sustainable cost.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering complex projects; managing risk; achieving on time and on budget outcomes.
* Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and regulatory approvals.
Key Requirements:
* Highly capable leader with demonstrated success in delivering large scale, high value and technically complex projects.
* Ability to provide authoritative advice to Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Chief Executive Officer, Ministers and Government senior executives.
You will be part of a collaborative, high performing division that supports the Territory's economic development and longterm transition to secure, reliable and sustainable energy supply.
