Peel Dental Studio is seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our professional team. This dual role combines chairside assisting with reception and administrative responsibilities.
This position is well suited to an individual who enjoys working with people, providing quality patient care, and supporting the smooth operation of a busy dental practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical (Chairside Assisting):
* Assist dentists during a range of clinical procedures
* Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
* Sterilisation and infection control procedures
* Support patient comfort and care throughout treatment
Front Desk (Reception):
* Welcome and assist patients on arrival
* Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
* Answer phone and email enquiries
* Maintain accurate patient records and general administrative duties
Requirements
* Previous dental assisting experience required
* Reception or customer service experience advantageous
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
* Working With Children Check
* Police Clearance
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
* Use of HICAPS machine
* Knowledge of Veterans and CPDSS
* Friendly, professional and reliable approach
