About Our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse to join our team on a permanent, full-time/part-time basis.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced clinical care, problem-solving, and leadership within a healthcare team.

Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring high-quality standards are met through expert planning, coordination, and management of specialist nursing care.

Main Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality patient care using advanced clinical skills.
* Collaborate with patients and caregivers to identify healthcare needs.
* Adhere to documentation standards and coordinate work functions.
* Undertake discharge planning and act as a mentor when required.
* Develop and maintain rosters, support policy implementation.
* Manage labour resources, allocate resources effectively.
* Analyse data, promote workplace safety and customer satisfaction.
* Participate in meetings, quality activities, and professional development.
* Accept individual responsibility and adhere to organisational policies.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse who possesses:

* Current registration with the Australian Health Regulation Agency as a Division 1 Registered Nurse.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty.
* Postgraduate tertiary qualifications applicable to healthcare team specialty (desired).
* Advanced clinical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong planning and coordination abilities in clinical patient care management.
* Ability to work effectively within a collegiate healthcare team structure.
* Familiarity with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
