Job Summary
The Engagement Assistant Director role is a key leadership position within the Group/Branch Leadership Team, involving people, program, and stakeholder management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employees, contributing to overall branch performance, and nurturing and managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and networks.

The role involves delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a wide range of activities. The Engagement Assistant Director works with a considerable degree of independence under broad direction from the Director.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an EL 1 candidate who demonstrates the following skills and capabilities:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or relevant work experience would be desirable.
* A current Australian driver's license is a requirement.
This position requires a high level of cultural competency due to direct engagement with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and service providers, or participation in the development of programmes and policies.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment screening checks, such as an Australian Criminal History Check.
