About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Wyong working a minimum of 30.5 hours per fortnight. In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans
* Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
* Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
* Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
* Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
* Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
* Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines

Monday: 6.00AM - 9.00AM (3 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Tuesday: No shift
Thursday: 6.00AM - 9.00AM (3 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Friday: No shift
Saturday: No shift
Sunday: No shift
Week 2
Monday: 3.30PM - 10.00PM (6.5 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Tuesday: 2.30PM - 7.00PM (4.5 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Thursday: 2.30PM - 7.00PM (4.5 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Friday: 2.30PM - 7.00PM (4.5 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Saturday: 2.30PM - 7.00PM (4.5 hours) - Wyong (SIL204)
Sunday: No shift
Who We're Looking For
* Willing to work sleepover, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
* Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
* Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
* Experienced in disability support (preferred)
* Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
