About Timberlink:
Timberlink Australia & New Zealand is a sustainable leading softwood timber products manufacturing and distribution business, employing over 600 people. Our world class manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best renewable plantation pine resources in the world - Bell Bay in Tasmania & Tarpeena in South Australia. Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.
About the role:
Our Tasmanian mill is situated in Bell Bay (about half an hour from Launceston) and currently has over 180 employees on site. Due to continued growth and volume in our mills, we now have a vacancy for an experienced log loader to join our team.
What we require you to have:
* Loader licence essential
* Forklift licence preferable but not essential
* Previous experience moving lengths of product
* An eye for detail and accuracy
* Own car and licence
* An ability to work on a rotating roster – one week on day shift and next week on afternoon shift
* Experience within a timber/manufacturing environment highly preferred
* An outstanding work ethic with an ability to learn
