WHAT DOES THIS JOB INVOLVE?
- This Territory Manager role, based in Perth, plays an integral role in this organisation by providing sales, sales development, education and support to medical professionals including surgeons, specialists and nurses in hospitals.
- The role will develop and execute a new business and sales plan for a Perth, WA territory, to achieve sales targets through ensuring superior customer education and support is provided to all current and prospective customers.
- You will identify and develop new business target opportunities and introduce new products when launched.
- You will provide market and competitor feedback and be aware of competitor activities within your accounts/hospitals.
- You will organise and complete in-service training sessions and organise and complete product presentations with input from, and in consultation with, the senior management team.
- You will provide troubleshooting and technical support and you will work in the operating theatre providing case support to surgeons and anaesthetists.
WHAT EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED
- Pharmaceutical Rx, preferably hospital sales or medical device sales experience, selling into hospitals, primarily in the operating theatre environment, however, you DO NOT need surgical device experience and hospital pharma reps will definitely be considered, most important is someone who is energetic, self-starting, entrepreneurial who has the drive to onboard new business.
- Preferably, proven training experience and the ability to conduct both group and individual training sessions, (in-servicing experience).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills as well as strong and confident presentation skills.
