About the Position The City is putting out an expression of interest for casualUmpires to come on board. Potential candidates are expected toumpire sporting programs according to rules set out by the relevantsporting governing body and the applicable Stirling Leisure CentreBy-Laws. Umpires are required to contribute to the efficientoperation of the facility and its programs, to maintain a safeenvironment for patrons and to ensure the facility and equipment isin a presentable and safe working condition at all times. Key Responsibilities The duties of the Umpire will include but are not limitedto: Being an enthusiastic team member with strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrating excellent decision-making skills. Using high level organisational and time management skills. About You The following qualifications and experience are highly desired,but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be aperfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will beconsidered. An umpiring qualification relevant to sporting programs. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and legislation relevant to sporting programs. Ability to work individually without supervision and in a team environment. Experience in umpiring and / or refereeing any one of the following sports: netball, basketball, Futsal (soccer) and or other indoor sports.
