Now, we're on the hunt for an Architectural Photographer to create stunning, high-quality photos and videos using cutting-edge gear. Your media will be vital. Australian renters, homebuyers, and commercial real estate professionals rely on CoStar and Domain to market their properties and spot opportunities. With millions visiting our sites each month, your creative work will directly drive property transactions every single day.
Key Responsibilities
* Use architectural photography expertise to produce interior and exterior media of residential houses, apartments, office, industrial, and retail properties.
* Produce engaging videos that showcase the standout features of residential and commercial properties, providing valuable insights for prospective stakeholders.
* Matterport 3D captures of properties, creating interior and exterior walk-through tours.
* Create exterior media for suburbs, parks, and schools.
* Utilise professional-grade tools to create visually appealing media.
* Travel may be required up to a week per month or as determined by business need.
* Edit all photography and video in a timely fashion, resulting in a completed project.
* Communicate professionally with clients during all aspects of media shoots, including scheduling, setup and on-site interactions.
* Continued learning and development of photography craft, including staying up to date on new techniques and technology.
* Participate in team meetings to address business challenges and opportunities while promoting collaboration and continuous learning.
Basic Qualifications
* Demonstrable practical experience as a professional Real Estate Photographer or similar.
* Portfolio submission including real estate and lifestyle media (exterior and interior photographs, and drone media preferred).
* High school certificate or equivalent (minimum).
* 2+ years professional real estate photography and videography experience, or recent graduate with a Photography concentration.
* Full understanding of manual camera settings and lighting.
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and experience using macOS and MS Office.
* Must hold a current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or be willing to obtain it within 6 weeks of joining, including completion of CASA-approved training and certification.
Physical And Travel Requirements
* Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 12 kg.
* Current, valid Australian driver's licence and ability to hire a car for work travel.
* Ability to drive for up to 2 hours at a time and work outdoors in all seasons.
* Occasional night and weekend work (rotating roster).
* Satisfactory Driving Record Check before starting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Enjoys challenges of photographing buildings and suburbs, with creative problem-solving.
* Strong relationship-building skills and ability to develop contacts with assigned companies.
* Flexible with excellent multi-tasking and time-management abilities.
* Experience of commercial drone photography is desirable.
* Ability to capture and edit high-quality interior and exterior property videos and photography.
* Understanding of best practices for architectural photography, with artistic vision and creativity.
