**About the role**
We currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. It is preferred that you are an experienced Aged Care Worker or Disability Support Worker. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Variety of shifts available including weekends and active overnights
- Working within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic duties
- Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship and support
- Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
- Preparing food, feeding clients and assisting medications
- Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client
- Responding to emergency situations
**Essential Criteria**:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Comprehensive car insurance (desirable)
- COVID Vaccination as per Queensland Government requirement
