Control Systems Engineer – Warehouse Automation

This business is renowned for developing intelligent material handling systems – from conveyors and high-speed sorters to full turnkey automation solutions – and they continue to scale across the APAC region. With a strong pipeline of local projects, they're now looking to appoint an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support both delivery and ongoing innovation.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems for warehouse automation equipment. Projects are typically fast-paced, involving close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and software teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and program Siemens-based PLC systems (TIA Portal) for automated material handling systems
* Support commissioning, testing, and onsite integration
* Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces and control logic for conveyors, sorters, and related equipment
* Provide technical support during installation and client handover
* Collaborate with cross-functional project teams locally and internationally
Ideal Background:
* Electrical, Mechatronic or Automation Engineering degree
* 3–5+ years' experience in automation / control systems engineering
* Strong Siemens PLC (TIA Portal) programming skills
* Experience with warehouse automation, conveyors, or intralogistics equipment highly regarded
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
