In your new role, you will confidently lead quantitative research on existing and new strategies and day-to-day management of domestic and global portfolios as part of the broader strategic objectives to achieve growth in funds under management.
The key responsibilities include:
 * Identifying and leading research projects to enhance existing strategies as well as developing new strategies
 * Contributing to the design and implementation of systematic equity portfolios
 * Development of quant investment process and infrastructure
 * Providing deep expertise in domestic and global systematic strategies, portfolio optimisation / construction and trade execution
 * Ensuring compliance with all portfolio guidelines and processes
 * Day-to-day monitoring and reporting on our investments including performance vs risk / return expectations and modification of these where necessary
 * Proving quantitative research and thought leadership for the systematic equities team, including factor specific research and simulation work
You are a sharp quant analyst, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high quality research to inform robust portfolio decision making and performance. You’ll be self-motivated and driven, inherently inquisitive, able to work autonomously and effectively as part of a broader team to achieve positive outcomes.
If you have the following qualifications, we would like to hear from you:
 * A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a quant equities analyst
 * Demonstrated success leading quant research projects, enhancing and developing new strategies
 * Proven knowledge of equity markets, and quantitative modelling techniques
 * Strong programming skills in Python, R or similar
 * Demonstrated track record working collaboratively and contributing toward a high performing investment team
 * An express interest/openness to new relationships and investment products
 * Working toward/attainment of CFA/CQF designation
 * Relevant tertiary qualifications
