Role: Senior FX Sales
Location: Ebury, Perth, Western Australia, Australia
Responsibilities
* Originate new business autonomously targeting Middle Market prospects.
* Collaborate with sales teams to cross-sell Ebury lending, cash management, FX hedging and payment products.
* Understand the client's business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution.
* Know the competition's capabilities and gaps to position Ebury's Banking solutions effectively.
* Promote sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments with the country head.
* Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers.
* Support strong client relationships through ongoing contact, written reports via Salesforce, quality service, and superior product knowledge.
Experience
* 5+ years of experience in B2B sales in a hunter/acquisition role; preferably within FX and Payments.
* Strong financial services sales experience and a network of contacts is advantageous.
* Experience selling to mid-size corporates in commercial banks, plus exposure to environments outside banking (e.g., startup/vendor, FX specialist, cash management).
* Experience of the local market.
* Knowledge of compliance requirements.
* Ideally with a business/finance academic background.

* Proven ability to bring passion, energy and motivation to a sales organization.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
* Comfortable with a phone-based sales approach.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to win commitment and buy-in.
* Ability to develop sales strategies based on customer feedback and market conditions; clearly present points, features, and benefits aligned to customer needs.
* Skilled negotiator able to build relationships at senior levels within SMB customers.
* Quick learner with strong analytical skills.
* Fluent English required.
