DWS is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer experienced with Kafka, Confluent, and cloud platforms such as GPC, AWS, or Azure. The role involves designing, building, and supporting event‐driven services in a DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE environment.

* Start: ASAP
* Rate: Up to $200,000 (inc. super) or $900 pd + GST via your ACN, depending on background and experience
* Style: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
* Location: Melbourne
Essential Skills & Experience
* Knowledge of Kafka infrastructure and experience designing/deploying use cases to Kafka, Kafka Connect, and Confluent Cloud
* Experience with GPC, AWS, or Azure
* Infrastructure‐as‐Code skills (preferably Terraform)
* Containerization using Docker
* Monitoring/observability using New Relic, Sumo Logic, Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, or similar tools
* Platform access control and security concepts: RBAC, OAuth 2.0 client‐credential flow, mTLS, TLS
