Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic based out of our workshop in Allansford VIC. This full-time Monday - Friday permanent position offers you the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of milk tanker trucks.
How You Will Make a Difference
* Maintain and repair a fleet of up to 45 heavy and multi-vehicle combination milk tanker trucks.
* Collaborate with tanker drivers and fleet coordinators.
* Assist with vehicle breakdowns diagnose and repair issues and manage milk flow meters.
* Ensure the safe transfer of milk back to the depot.
About You
* A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade.
* Experience in a similar role within the transport industry particularly with diesel engines hydraulics and electrical systems.
* A current HC/MC drivers license (desirable but not essential).
* Experience with both automatic and manual trucks especially Volvos is highly regarded.
* The ability to work independently handle pressure and maintain high standards for the fleet.
