Kanda are looking for passionate team members to support children and young people in residential care settings.
In this role you will:
Responsibilities
Provide direct care and supervision to young people in a residential setting.
Develop and implement individualised care plans.
Assist with daily activities, support their understanding of self-care, education, and recreational activities.
Promote a safe and positive living environment.
Build trusting relationships with young people, offering emotional support and guidance.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements
Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement
Available to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings and sleepovers)
Valid Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor\'s Degree, Diploma or CertificateIV(Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.)
Experience working with young people/children
Experience working in other support work related fields, i.e. disability, mental health, aged care, and childcare
