The role in a nutshell
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration Most importantly make a fun and safe environment for our educators and children
**Leaders**: As passionate leader, you will mentor others and promote professional development and service success. You have the ability to coordinate priorities and manage escalations with demonstrated competency within frameworks and regulations. Manage relationships with the school and broader community; Team development and quality accountability through exemplary practice and demonstrated service management capabilities; Design and deliver programmes, leaning on the skills and qualities within your team. As a guide: Before School Care runs (6:30AM - 9:00AM), and After School Care (2:00 PM - 6:00PM) plus 4 hours off the floor administration to total 36.5 hours per week.
About You Commitment to our company values and philosophy As a Coordinator you must hold a Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, Cert III (CHC30221) or IV Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care or Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioural science or nursing Valid WWCC or willing to obtain Availability over split shifts Monday to Friday The ability to pass a National Police Check
