Consultant Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to join our organisation.
The role of the consultant is to provide expert guidance and support to Practitioners as they learn and develop their practice in the Teaching Family Model (TFM). This hands-on support will be provided through on-the-job coaching, formal observations, and consistent verbal and written feedback.
The key responsibilities of this role include leadership and operational management of a core team, mentoring and supervising staff, providing supervision and monitoring workloads and individual performance, and role modelling best practice principles and your understanding of the Out of Home Care System to young people and the team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven mentoring skills, sound experience working with young people who live with the impacts of trauma and neglect, and a keen sense of professional development. You will also hold a Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or other relevant field.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to gain experience in consultancy work within the TFM program.
This is a fixed-term position from 2025 until 2025, and you will be based in Ivanhoe on Wurrundjeri Country.
