Who We Are
Rochedale South State School has been a school of choice in our local community since 1979.
Positive attitudes towards learning and behaviour are fostered through our quality Australian curriculum which emphasises Performing Arts, Science, Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Sport along with Chinese (Mandarin) language and culture studies to ensure our children have well‐rounded skills and the confidence to achieve their personal best.

* Share the leading of the curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives
* Participate in instructional leadership responsibilities as discussed in the school's AIP
* Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division
* Develop the quality of teaching and learning
* Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
* Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Work with the existing HOD-C (0.6) to ensure seamless and consistent delivery of the curriculum.
* Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
