Job Description As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key supporting role in the daily operations of our renowned No35 Restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help deliver exceptional service at every guest contact point, assist in driving revenue opportunities, and maintain effective cost controls. This is a hands-on role with a strong service focus, where you will lead by example while supporting and motivating the team to uphold our brand’s high standards. Key Responsibilities Assist the Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of all meal periods, with a focus on exceeding guest expectations. Support in the supervision, training, and development of Ambassadors to ensure consistent adherence to service standards and procedures. Contribute to the onboarding, orientation, and induction of new Ambassadors in collaboration with management. Assist in managing yield and seating optimisation to maximise revenue opportunities. Be present on the floor during service periods to provide direct support to team members and respond to guest needs. Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback promptly, escalating major concerns to the Restaurant Manager where appropriate. Support the implementation and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures through coaching, training, and workplace observation. Promote a positive and professional work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration across the restaurant. Ensure Ambassadors under your supervision are managed in accordance with relevant workplace agreements and policies.
