We are currently seeking a highly organized medical receptionist/secretary for a busy cardiology practice at Malvern. The successful applicant will have a flexible attitude to work and be a good team player. This is part time position, 3 days a week. Hours are 9.00am to 5.00 pm but may vary according to clinic times.
Key responsibilities will include:
Meet and greet patients on arrival
Facilitating of consulting sessions including scheduling patient appointments
Answering telephone calls & assisting patients with their queries
Billing and receipting patient clinics
Checking emails and actioning them appropriately
Tidying up, checking and distribution of clinic letters
Daily / General administrative duties including scanning, emailing, mail distribution, etc.
Skills and Experience
Knowledge of medical software Xestro (preferable) although training will be provided
Previous experience in a Medical Practice is essential
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent computer knowledge essential.
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Ability to multitask and show initiative
Professional manner
