Maintenance supervisor

Mineral Resources (MinRes) is experiencing exciting growth with the re‐opening of the Bald Hill lithium mine. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the CSI team, build a strong and motivated crew, and oversee daily maintenance activities. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high‐quality maintenance of fixed plant and mobile equipment.

• Supervise and schedule day‐to‐day mechanical maintenance, repair, and breakdown work on fixed plant equipment, including crushers, conveyors, and screens.
• Plan and oversee preventative maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability and lifespan.
• Conduct regular inspections, fault diagnosis, and root‐cause analysis to minimise plant downtime.
• Organise and action safety and management registers from daily reports and inspections.
• Monitor and uphold equipment condition to the highest standard.
• Implement and improve company policies on quality, environmental, and other areas.
• Ensure all employees and contractors are suitably qualified, in partnership with HR and the Site Manager.
• Conduct new employee inductions and annual staff reviews.
• Deputise as Site Manager during leave or rest‐and‐relax periods.
• Liaise with the Haulage Supervisor to align crushing and haulage activities.
• Arrange rosters and maintain manning levels to support continuous operations.
• Utilise strong problem‐solving and analytical skills to find solutions and coach the team to develop their own solutions.

• C‐class driver's licence and valid Schedule26.
• Current first‐aid certification.
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, and material‐handling equipment.
• High‐risk work licences (crane, forklift, EWP, rigging).
• CertificateIV or Diploma in Frontline Management or equivalent.
• Relevant trade qualification and supervisory courses.
• Previous supervisory experience in a crushing plant or similar fixed‐plant environment.
• Australian work rights.

• At least 12 months continuous service in the current role.
• Clear disciplinary and conduct record with no recent safety incidents.
• Consistent compliance with safety, operational procedures, and safe & respectful behaviours.
