Surveyor - Opportunities for Career Growth
We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our team, working on various civil and infrastructure projects across Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying, with expertise in delivering complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct field surveys, including boundary, topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys.
* Organise and lead the site survey team to meet project deadlines and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
* Manage and maintain survey equipment, ensuring proper calibration and reliability.
* Apply innovative and cost-effective surveying methods to achieve targets and improve project profitability.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to address survey-related queries, resolve issues, and provide progress updates.
* Understand project and client requirements to deliver tailored surveying solutions.
* Analyse survey data to prepare accurate maps, drawings, and reports for project planning and decision-making.
* Supervise, mentor, and train junior surveyors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Requirements:
* Tertiary study in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field.
* Proven expertise in delivering complex concrete projects.
* Relevant experience within the civil and infrastructure industry.
* Proficiency in surveying software and equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data processing software.
