About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join Superior Food & Convenience, servicing the Southern and Hills suburbs of Adelaide, based out of our Wingfield branch. You will be responsible for growing sales across an existing customer base, while identifying and converting new business opportunities within foodservice.
This role is well suited to experienced sales professionals or hospitality and chef professionals looking to transition into a structured weekday career. This is a Monday to Friday role, offering lifestyle balance and job security.
In this Role
* Driving new business revenue and margin across your assigned territory
* Managing and growing relationships with an existing portfolio of customers
* Servicing customers in line with agreed call cycles and coverage plans
* Promoting and executing fortnightly promotional programs
* Managing and reviewing contract pricing by customer
* Identifying opportunities to introduce new categories and solutions
* Interpreting sales data and BI reports to maximise customer potential
* Completing weekly reports and planners and ensuring compliance with OH&S, HACCP and company policies
What are we looking for?
* Experience in sales, account management, or customer service (foodservice/FMCG preferred)
* Hospitality or chef experience; this role is ideal for chefs or hospitality professionals seeking a career change
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
* The ability to understand customer needs and deliver total supply solutions
* A proactive, results‐driven and organised approach to work
* Intermediate Microsoft skills and confidence working with sales data
* A passion for food, people and supporting local independent businesses
