The Opportunity On behalf of a large Federal Government Agency, we are looking for an APS5 Records/Information Management Officer. This role will work as part of the Procurement and Corporate Services Team. This is a -month assignment based in Geelong and will be working Monday - Friday, .5 hours per week. The role will be paying between $. per hour plus super. Responsibilities will include; Maintaining, applying and disseminating specialist knowledge of the legislative obligations relating to records and information management.Contributing to the development and maintenance of policies and processes to ensure records and information management compliance.Contributing to the provision of specialist information management advice and recommendations to individuals and teams across the Agency.Monitoring Agency information management activities.Assisting in training, advice and support on the Agency's records management system.Contributing to a range of information management activities and improvement projects.To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate; Previous experience in a similar roleExtensive experience with electronic documents and records management systemsCustomer service skill in records management assisting with naming conventionsExtensive experience in digital sentencing complex recordsExperience in SharePoint or Record Point will be highly desirableExperience in Commonwealth record keeping frameworks would be advantageousTo Apply As this role is within the Federal Government, applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship in order to be considered.
