About our Biomedical Engineering Team
We deliver comprehensive health technology management, service and support to hospitals across the state through the statewide delivery of biomedical engineering services.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience in electronic and/or mechanical technologies, general engineering and other associated health technology equipment skills.
- Willingness to provide guidance and support to students and less experienced practitioners.
- High level of interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders under senior practitioner direction.
- Commitment to quality management principles and continuous improvement.
- Honesty, integrity and respect for all staff and healthcare workers.
Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering such as an Associate Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent).
- Licences and certifications required for activities within discipline areas or willingness to obtain during first 6 months.
- A C class drivers licence is required for driving vehicles.
- Travel and work location requirements may involve attending various locations, occasional overtime and up to two weeks of travel at a time.
